          The office of the Chief Electoral Officer functions under the overall supervision and control of the Election Commission of India. This office monitors the work relating to the conduct of General Elections and Bye- Elections, to the House of People from Andhra Pradesh and A.P. Legislative Assembly, A.P. Legislative Council. This includes preparation and updation of Electoral Rolls, issue of Photo Identity Cards to Electors and Re-organization of Polling Stations.
          This Website is designed to assist all stakeholders in the election process – citizens, voters political parties, NGO’s, political analysts, etc. It facilitates citizens to electronically search for their names in the electoral rolls and identifies the polling stations where they will have to vote. Citizens can also apply for inclusion of their names in the rolls. The electoral rolls as revised with respect to 1.1.2008 as the effective date are available on this site for all the newly Delimited 294 - Assembly Constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. Any queries in connection with inclusions, deletions, corrections and transpositions of entries in the Electoral Rolls, Citizens/Electors may contact AEROs (Assistant Electoral Registration Officers)/EROs(Electoral Registration Officers) of their Constituency.
          Dedicated links are also available on implementation of the final notification of the Delimitation Commission; statistical report for the 2004 General Elections including polling station-wise results and information on this office under Section 4(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005. Important instructions to District election staff from this office on preparation of rolls, delimiting of constituencies and conduct of elections are also being put on the website on a continuous basis to ensure transparency of the election process.
